3. In SAFENTRIX Control panel, in my domain's 'Outbound Email Security' page, I cannot see an "Enable" link. What is wrong?

Your domain must be added and activated for SAFENTRIX before you can enable Outbound Email Security. Also, every domain must be manually verified by SAFENTRIX personnel before it can start using Outbound SMTP Relay service.

If you do not see the link it means that your domain is either

  1. Not enabled in SAFENTRIX, or
  2. Not activated properly, or
  3. Has not yet been approved for Outbound SMTP Relay service, or
  4. Your domain has been denied Outbound SMTP Relay Service as the domain website supports activities that are deemed illegal in some of the geographic locations SAFENTRIX operates in.

To find out what is wrong with your domain SAFENTRIX Setup, check out Dr. SAFENTRIX.

14. I have completed the SAFENTRIX Outbound Email Security installation as per the Installation Guide. Is it safe to set my Email Server to relay through smtp.safentrix.com now? What will happen if I had made a mistake in the implementation?

It is absolutely safe to relay emails through smtp.safentrix.com. If your Outbound Email Security setup is fine, everything will work as it supposed to.

If your Outbound Email Security setup is wrong, the emails will be rejected with a temporary (4xx) error code.

Email servers are required to retry the emails if they are rejected with 4xx error code. This means that these emails will remain in your Email server queue for retrying.

The emails will not bounce and if you find emails are not being relayed and remain in the queue, you can do the following:

  1. Reset Relay email server setting to as before.
  2. Check what is wrong with the setting and fix the same.
